DEU was founded on July, 20th 1982 with the aim of training people in a wide range of diciplines like health, economy, art, engineering, etc. in order to contribute to the financial, technical and social development of our society. DEU targets research as well as high quality and modern education. Presently, DEU has 13 faculties, 5 schools, 6 vocational schools, 6 graduate schools, 5 institutes, 43 reasearch and application centers.

In a joint collaboration of Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Engineering in Dokuz Eylul University, our research group is searching for collaboration on projects by offering 

* technical collaboration on industrial and medical signal/image processing projects

* data and clinical expertise in the fields including but not limited to radiology, neurology, biophysics  etc. in a fully digitalized (PACS; RIS; HIS) clinical environment.

EADI, the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes, is the leading European network in the field of development research and training. EADI is a Europe-wide network of institutes, researchers and students of various disciplines in the field of development studies. It organises activities and offers facilities for the international exchange of knowledge and experience in the professional field.

Gazi University one of the big universities in Turkey. It has more than 70 thousand students and 5 thousand including academic personnel and staff.

In Gazi University some national projects are implemented individually in preferential areas and there are research laboratories depending on the size and area of the projects. Moreover, research centres carry out studies related to their fields. Gazi University opened Semiconductor Technologies Advanced Research Laboratory (STARLAB) with the support of State Planning Organisation (DPT) in 2005.

Individual and team projects are implemented completely by the project coordinators with support of The scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). Within the university national and FP6 and FP7 projects carried out on behalf of the university.

In this project is teaching geometry utilizing geometric drawings that architects and artists need. For this, the constructions of architectural, artistic structures  and historical monuments will be analyzed with  various geometric software  and the geometric shapes, patterns used in their production will be determined. Then, the activities related to create different shapes and patterns will be organized in computer environment. In this way, the students will learn to have fun 2 and 3 dimensional objects with intriguing, interesting and popular artistic and historical artifacts. Also, it is aimed to students to develop problem-solving skills and imagination, and the effects of mathematics to art.
